The James Fund is a non-profit organization founded by Family Christian Stores to meet the needs of orphans and widows in the communities we serve. The scriptural mandate of caring for orphans and widows, such as the one found in James 1:27, is a wonderful invitation to experience God in a profound way by being a part of His sovereign plan for His precious children.

Recording artist Mark Schultz’s adoption as an infant is one of the great inspirations behind his music. His heart was deeply touched when he saw the faces of orphans and heard the stories of need on a James Fund video, which led to his participation in a James Fund mission trip to Monterrey, Mexico this past spring. Joined by his wife, Kate, Mark had the opportunity to personally share Christ’s love with these precious children, and the bond that was formed has spurred him to share the story of the James Fund in his concerts. He encourages you to join him on this mission of touching the lives of orphans by showing them the love of our Heavenly Father.
