Clay, didn’t it hurt putting your beard through the rinse cycle? Either that or you have some mighty strong static cling going on!
So Mark – you flying home, or just turn the bike round and ride home? Prescott to Phoenix is much nicer downhill!
Congrats on an amazing feat that is almost done… our loving God has brought you and all those you’ve touched many many blessings – especially to those orphans and widows who have and will be helped. May God continue to bless you throughout your lives and continue to be your source of strength, peace and joy.

Hi Guys!
You guys are so funny!! Since this was the last episode of “What’s in Clay’s Beard”, I hope you were able to find everything that WAS in there!!
Another 77 miles today, Mark. That is great! Only 2 more days of riding!? I hope you don’t have too many more hills to climb on the last 2 days. Although, it did look like you had a few down hill portions to coast down, too. Keep on pedaling, Mark, you are almost there!
God bless you all!!!
Blessings and Hugs,

Hey Mark,
Great job! I bet it was tough getting up all of those mountains. I know how much you disliked all of those small hills while we were riding. You are almost done with your ride and I will miss seeing how you are doing everday. I can’t wait until I can get you to come to this area. I am starting to work on making that happen. Another thing that I will miss is watching to see what Clay pulls out of his beard. I can’t believe that you ate that pringle haha, that was great! Good luck with the rest of your ride, and I know that God will give you the strength to finish strong. I will be praying for you and your crew.

Thanks for the afternoon laugh- people at work must think I am weird looking at my screen laughing
Another fine ride today- didn’t anyone tell you it’s cooler up north? In Michigan you can wear a light jacket today- seems wild for July! I think the Lord blessed you with cooler weather for that uphill ride. Looked pretty curvy too!!!
It is so cool that you guys are tight- the fellowship that has been formed has been so fun to watch. You must be tight to DARE to eat a pringle out of Clay’s beard! I noticed the camera fixed for awhile on Dunkin Donuts- what no donuts in Clay’s beard.
All kidding aside- you guys are a wonderful- sacrificing your time for orphans and widows.
Happy 4th of July!!

And, without say, THANK YOU for what you’ve done for orphans and widows. Blessings my friend!

I…cannot….stop….laughing! You all are too funny! Thanks for making this journey such an enjoyable one to watch! Great support group you’ve got there, Mark! Just wondering if there will be some kind of recorded “tour crew” reunion down the road (no pun intended) sometime with a special guest appearance of Clay and the discovery of some extravagant findings from his beard like Samson’s brush or something!
Keep it up, Mark, you’re almost there!!! Go, Mark, go! Praying for all of you!
I’m glad you got your sock back, I was really worried, lol! You’re almost there Mr. Schultz!

Much laughter… many tears of joy!
A journey of heart and will and purpose!!
I could not have imagined the good a tour like this would do. God has had His hand on you guys from day one. It is evident by the fruit that has come from your effort, the lives you have touched and the way God has worked in the team. The James 1:27 challenge and promise has been lived out on this journey and in your lives – Thank you. Much good will be done for widows and orpahns because of your sacrifice.
I will miss the ending celebration. My heart is grateful for you guys. Words are not adequate to express my appreciation, respect and love.
May God’s favor go with you on the remaining days of this journey and continue with each of you on the journey to come!
With love and appreciation,

What a great video today! It was funny. I was delighted to see Clay did not pull that sub out of his beard. Has he even washed his beard since he fixed the bus?? Can someone testify to that??? I would not eat anything that came out of his beard, never know what Clay is up to when one isnt looking. Hummm Today’s quote, seems you spirits are up, but keep in mind for when you hit the tough parts that are left on your journey, “Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.” I like this quote. Prayers are with you and the crew. Tie your phone to yourself, so you dont keep loosing it.

Hey Mark!
You guys made me laugh again today! I was having a bad day today…struggling with feeling depressed, because of some things that happen in life (no Mel, it wasn’t your fault at all…it’s just one of those days)…as well as dealing with physical pain in my side (I even got sent home from work an hour and a half early). I came home, trying to relax a bit and get rid of the pain somehow…The pain is still hanging around, but thanks to you and Clay, the smile is back on my face and depression is replaced with joy and thankfulness.
Mark and team…you guys continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as well as my parents, who are still trucking away. Mark, you continue to inspire me and I am sure many others around the world!
Blessings (((hugs))) and prayers

I am truly going to miss you guys!! : ( I know you must be so ready to be back home with your families though! I’m sure they have missed you so much!! : ) You guys are some of the most genuinely beautiful people I have ever seen! (Roll that beautiful “bean” footage… coffee bean that is!) lol A beautiful sight! : ) Mark you did an awesome show tonight, as always! You are such a blessing! It is so nice to see you doing more shows in this area again! It must’ve been quite a change to go from the 40’s yesterday to almost 90 here in Florida! We’ve missed you! I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to see you after the show, but I know how exhausted you must be and then to have such a late night on top of it all. Not to mention, the early flight back to finish the bike ride. I don’t think I’d feel like signing a couple thousand or so autographs either! : ) It was nice to see Shawn and all the guys in the band there with you tonight! You are in my prayers! Take care and God bless you guys!

Mark,
Glad to see you made it in fine form over both Woodford Mountain and Hogback Mountain riding from Bennington Vermont to Brattleboro. There must of been a bit of magic in that coffee you had at Robin’s coffeeshop because those are two tough hill climbs for a bike rider. It was a pleasure meeting you and learning of your cause. Enjoy your acheivement as you put your toes into the Atlantic Ocean. You deserve it. Hope to see you if you come back through our beautiful state of Vermont on your way home.
