Very thankful that I was able to view the trip as you went along. An enjoyable time for me to watch your progress as you traveled this great country of ours. Thanks to all the people responsible for this endeavor.

CONGRATULATIONS! You all made it! (except the poor bus!!) Mark, it was so enjoyable to see you running with your bike into the Atlantic Ocean!! What a great way to finish your ride!! It sounds like you had some leisure time yesterday while waiting for the rest of the crew to catch up with you. Can you believe you have actually ridden 3500+ miles across this great nation?? Praise the Lord with great thanksgiving for seeing you safely through this tour and for the blessings He bestowed on all of you to accomplish it.

Eric, Clay, & Christian, you guys are awesome! What a fantastic crew you have been to Mark. Not only “crew” but true brothers in Christ. You all helped make this happen too. Thanks for your sacrifices to be a part of this! It’s too bad the bus couldn’t make it those last few miles. If I know you guys, you gave it your best shot to getting it working. That’s all you could do!

The James Fund has been truely blessed. The orphans and widows that will benefit from this effort will be joyful and full of thanks. A thank you out to Steve for the work he does for the James Fund (& coming out to ride with Mark for a few days).

I think Greg Lucid was a big factor “behind the scenes” that we all aren’t aware of. Thanks to you Greg!

Mark, I hope your concerts/celebrations go good for tonight and tomorrow. I would love to be there to celebrate with you, but know I am there in thoughts and spirit. All of you will be praising God with song and (laughter, I’m sure)!

It was good to see all of you together standing at the ocean. I don’t think we have had that opportunity before!

Kate, You must be so proud of Mark! He is an exceptional man and a true follower of Christ. Your support and encouragement was there with him everyday. God bless you for being a remarkable woman of Christ.

May God continue to bless each and every one of you! You all are so special!!

Blessings and Hugs,
Chrissy

WAY TO GO GUYS! I am sorry to hear about the bus not being able to make it, but the important thing is that you made it. I has been an emotional rollercoaster I know, but now you can say you did it. And you did it for a cause which added to your goal. Thank you mark for giving us the opportunity/prevledge to watch, and encourage you through out the last 2 months. Still waiting to see what happened to the sub. Please be sure when Clay returns to his “normal” life his beard is cleaned out. I believe that you had the one and only helping you out along the way, just the poem “footprints,” he carried you at the times you were unalbe to do it yourself. Prayers are with all of you. You deserve to celebrate. Sweettlc

I am sitting here with tears in my eyes watching this and reading the comments before mine, what more can I say than what has already been said. I ditto the above posts! Thank You Greg Lucid, The James Fund, and all of those involved. Clay, Eric & Christian, you guys are the greatest, as said already, Mark could not have done this without the three of you there every day 24 hours a day. Just so much you guys have done, its just awesome! Things like this get me for a loss of words because it is just so awesome and “thank you” sometimes seems like such a small word and I need better words to just say how much I appreciate everyone who has made this ride so successful. All of you just keep doing what you are doing!!!!

Mark, you must have been on a caffiene high half the day with all that coffe you drank earlier! Watching you dip that back tire into the ocean was an awesome thing to watch, and then when you ran back in and took a well deserved dive into the ocean…..We love you and appreciate you so much for all you have done, and for all you have become in Christ. Thank you for taking two months of your life, of Kates life, to do this for these children. Kate, thank you for giving up your husband for this cause, you truely are a remarkable woman!!

I look forward to seeing the next day or so of videos and see all of the celebration that is going on!! Thank you again to everyone involved, you are awesome brothers and sisters in Christ! Thank you.

In Christ,
Mel

Congrats to you all for a job well done!! You all stuck together and got there to the finish line. Except the bus-poor thing!!
I, as well think Greg did a “great” job getting this all together. Thanks again for letting us be a very small part in this great big wonderful cause for the widows and orphans . I thought I would cry when I saw you running into the ocean , but I laughed thinking what is he doing that water had to be so cold and I felt bad for you. All kidding aside. We as a family are so proud of you for what you all have done. We are thrilled that you are donethough , you must be extremely tired. We feel the relief for you since we have been watching everyday for the past 2 months.
What a differance you have made in so many lives. The Lord is so proud of what you’ve all done!!
I came across this verse today in this beautiful book that Im reading ( Reedeming Love by Francine Rivers) you should read it sometime. Every one should.
The verse to me was very fitting I thought for what you’ve shown us of you on this trip. ( We’ll miss seeing you so cheerful everyday)
-Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails- PROVERBS 19:21
You sought the purpose of God in your life, the one life that he gave you. You perservered through all of the trials and then using the gifts he bestowed upon you,you use to bless others. Good for you Mark !! You all have done a great work for the Lord and his children.
May God continue to bless you, your family and your ministry.
We love you brother!! You are in our prayers!

Then to see you just jump into the water celebrating the end of your journey, wow! I am SO very proud of you!! All of you!! {{{HUGS}}} YEAHH!! Eric, man, you did it again! Awesome song and video! You are very gifted! You’ve done an amazing job from beginning to end! Clay, “dude” : )>> (notice the beard!) lol You have done an awesome job! From keeping the bus going all that way, driving across country, getting your “nap on”, and even diplomatic relations with law enforcement!! And you all have a great sense of humor! Christian, thank you so much for all you’ve done behind the scenes! Way to go! Mark, what can I say? Your heart and your actions speak louder than any words could ever speak!! Hey Mark,
Congrats on the great finish. I’m glad to see that your day wasn’t too hard. You are such a great guy. And of course I must say it again. You are an amazing person. I am honored to be able to say that I got to ride my bike with you. It was so exciting to see you jump in the ocean, and dip your tire into the ocean. I think that it was a good way to finish. Have fun celebrating! It is very well deserved. I know how hard you had to push yourself some of the days during your ride. I’m sure that the orphans and widows will remember who you are for a long time. To all of the crew, you guys are great. I can tell how much you helped Mark, and how close you have become to each other. Thank you Mark for giving us all the chance to ride with you, I greatly enjoyed my time riding with you. I won’t ever forget that. Have fun with your celebration! Thank you guys for everything.

Mark, Christian, Eric, Clay, and the bus,

You guys did it! What an adventure, what an ending! Your sure got Satan’s attention as he was trying everything to discourage you to not finish…but our God Reigns!

What great things you have done for the Widows and Orphans that the James Fund touches! What great things has God taught you through this trip? Through your experiences and Erics great video blogs God has probably taught us all something. For me, the continuing lesson of dependance on Him, the importance of playing our part in community and what God will do for those who sacrifice for others!

Thanks for Persevering!

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

James 5:11 As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Father God, we thank you for watching over these dear brothers these last two months. We thank you for their dedication to You and to the widows and orphans they are serving. Thank you for protecting them on the road, for guiding them through the rough times. Thank you for pulling strangers together to form a team that supported each other throughout this adventure. Lord continue to bless these men as they now go their seperate ways, let them be thankful of the time they shared together and help them and all of us, keep our hearts and minds focussed on you. We love You! Amen

See you down the road or on the streets of gold!

Chris

Mark & Crew,

I can’t believe you all made it. WOW Mark you really have gone out of your normal boundaries and conquered one that will last forever deep inside you. Riding for the James Fund was a huge task, but you did it and all the smiling faces of the orphans will be the result.

Mark- I am so proud of you and what you have done. If it weren’t for a true man of GOD this would’ve never been done. You my man are the true thing and the real thing. May God Bless you immensely.

Clay, Eric, and Chris- Thank you so much for backing Mark up and always being there for him when he needed you all the most.

Kate- Thank you so much for letting all of us watch Mark’s ride throughout America for this great cause. Kate you are a wonderful Lady to have given Mark up for 2 months to let him expand His Boundaries.

Poor Bus- I know you will be fixed properly and back to your old self, but you do deserve a thank you too for putting up with the coast to coast ride with Mark and the guys.

Mark thanks so much for allowing Others and Myself to view this and all the others blogs. You are truly blessed and will always be in my prayers. Keep up the great work for the Lord and just maybe we will cross paths again. I hope you make it close again to Buffalo NY. It was good to catch your concert and see what you are really like and to me you are one of My Heroes… Your music and what you have done really hit me hard to see that I really am a child of God and that has made me change my life. That’s why I give you and your song Broken & Beautiful credit to shaping me and molding me into what I am now.

Thank You so Much.

With Love Always,
Linda & Matt Moerchen

Dear Mr. Schultz,
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Wow! that was really far. God is so awesome!

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work in you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6

God has done a good work within you through these past weeks on the road. And He will continue to use you in awesome ways until the day when He returns.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for
them.” Romans 8:28

Thank you so much for doing this and for trusting and obeying God for what He has called you to do. You bless so many people. Please don’t ever quit (unless God has something different for you)!
Mr. Schultz, May the Lord bless you today in a special way and continue to bless you through whatever your future holds!
In His Arms, Leanne

Mark & Crew:

We just wanted to add our congratulations to the site. We’re so very proud you finished the race! Pretty hilarious that you outdid the bus!

As a mom, I truly appreciate the public example you have set…one of perserverance, keeping your word, having a servant’s heart, obedience, etc. My children love your music and I plan to get my own mileage (teaching tools for my kids) out of your ride.

I thank God for keeping you safe and pray that He protects your testimony. I pray for His blessings on your families.

Mark and crew,

I was gone this weekend and couldn’t wait to get home to see the final day! What an awesome journey with so many blessings for many along the way. Thank you for sharing it with all of those watching daily. It was a beautiful thing to see the fun times, the hard times, the rides with friends, the rides with new faces and one of my favorite days, the ride with the three boys from Poland.

In typical Mark Schultz fashion you take your gifts, your awesome love of God, some great support people and you mix it up and change lives. It was an amazing 2 months for everyone involved….including those of us watching each day from our computers. Well done, rest up and work your way out to Seattle again for a concert!

Blessings,
deb

Dear Mark and Gang,
WOW, Congratulations !! We are proud of ya’ll. We were on vacation so I didn’t catch up until today. We were able to get over to Pinellas Park, Florida on July 3rd for Freedon Fest. You did a wonderful job as usual. I couldn’t tell you had spent the last two months on a bike. I found it hard to believe you could still have so much energy. Yes, it was hot, but it didn’t get rained out which could have happened. We will miss being able to see you and the gang along the beautiful countryside. Thanks for the opportunity to view your trip.
God Bless You All !!

Would you possibly have your bike with you?? Would you like to do a casual ride with some local cylists like us? We have some pretty roads along the Cass River that goes through Frankenmuth. That would be awesome! Nevertheless, see you in August!!!
God is good,

Congratulations Mark, Christian, Eric and Clay – Praise God for a safe journey. God is good and has shown His great favor to you on this trip. Well done!!!

A great quote from “Leading With a Limp” by Dan Allender speaks to this journey you are making, “It is in the extreme that you meet not only yourself but, more important the God who has written your life”. – In the meeting of the two we are transformed (my add). **Your extreme faith and action on behalf of orphans and widows brought forward your great character and you to a place where God met you again and again. It has influenced us deeply.

Your journey across a America is a strong example of a bold faith – A character in one of Ted Dekker’s books, a sage teaching a young man about transformational faith says, “Be bold. Cowardice keeps man double minded, hesitating between two worlds. True faith abandons one option for the other. Hesitation is the death of faith”.

**Mark, thanks for your boldness and action. It has touched lives and will reach into eternity.

**Crew, the same to you. For your sacrifice and commitment to this cause, we are forever grateful.

With love and respect,

Steve

Mark, Clay, Eric , Christian and Kate and fans,
It has been such and honor to pray for all of you during the course of this season of your lives. Watching God work in all of you has been an amazing witness to the Glory of God and all that can happen when we put and keep our eyes on Jesus. Thank you Mark for allowing us to “ride with you” and see the world thru your and Erics eyes. We are sooo proud of you! The orphans and widows will not be the only ones who will benefit from this experience…..we all will be changed for the better. This is my prayer for all the people who have come along side of you during this time. We will continue to pray for all of you as life gets back to a “new normal” and we walk forward from here. Blessings to all of you …..In Christ, Jen, Randy and Samuel
