Hi Everyone. As of 1:00 a.m., YouTube was still processing these videos. They have been processing them for about 11 hours now, and are having technical difficulties. If you are not seeing the videos yet, please check back soon, as the problem should be resolved sometime tonight. Thanks, and I apologize for the wait. We haven’t had internet access in a couple of days. Thank you, also, for all the encouraging words that you continue to post. We all read every one of them.

-Eric (the video guy)

Mark and crew,

Praying that all is well on the road as YouTube is out of sorts.

I find myself missing my daily dose of inspiration tonight and the smiling face on the video assuring that another day is done and that you were carried through. Annie’s birthday was yesterday and I spent some of the day again reflecting on how God carried her through, how your music inspired her journey and made it bearable.

Remember that you are being carried with each turn of the wheels, up each hill and through each headwind. You are an amazing man of God who is using your gifts to bless others in ways that cannot be measured.

Blessings,
deb

I pray Steve is able to keep up with the seasoned biker that you have become Mark :)

I pray that you continue to touch hearts and lives in the name of our Father and continue to draw awareness to the needs of orphans and widows.

We love all of you!!

Mark, Eric and the rest of the crew–
Thank you all for your dedication to the cause of raising funds for the James Fund. PTL for what He has allowed you to accomplish through these few weeks! Our family is following you and praying for you, Mark. Thanks for staying in the saddle, coming back to the places where you left off to go do a concert or spend time with your family, and for sharing your heart with all of us who are following your journey. We don’t have to fight the headwinds, or bear the heat (and humidity now that you are off the prairie), or pick the bugs out of our teeth, or slog up and down the real hills of Kansas and beyond! But we can stand with you in prayer and cheer you on. Remember He is faithful and is able to accomplish more than we are able to imagine!
Yours and His,
Gregg

Mark-
I missed your CNN show- sure hope someone taped it. Thanks for sharing the messsage with thousands of viewers about the James Fund’s quest to help orphans and widows. You sure are a Man on a Mission- putting God’s word’s in James 1:27 in action. Thanks!!!

So Sorry to hear about your back- hope you work the kink out. I have faith in the Lord that your back will work itself out. Maybe someone can give you a back rub- or perhaps take a warm bath.

I’m praying HARD for ya buddy! Keep the faith!!

Occasionally I pick up a copy of “Our Daily Bread” and read through the devotions in it… I offer the following excerpt to you and your crew…

In Psalm 139, David said that God, who created us and has planned our lives, understands us completely. He knows our thoughts even before they come into our minds. We can turn to Him with confidence when nothing seems to be going right. He knows the difficulty of our situation and exactly what we need because “His understanding is infinite.”

Thousands of prayers are being offered to you and your team as you continue on your current mission – thanks for your continued strength and “get-er-done” persistence – and may God continue to bless you and the crew along your journey.

I add a shout out to our Steve Biondo as he joins your ride for a few days!

Mark and Crew -
God is so good! You have been such an inspiration to me these past few weeks. Even with back pain, you press on towards the goal. I could only imagine what all you deal with daily on a trek like this one, I admire your attitude. It is obvious that the Lord is using you to do great things, not only in this endevor, but through your music as well. Thank you for having a willing spirit to be used of the Lord.
I’m going to miss following this “adventure” when you’re done!

Trusting “Christ’s strength is made perfect [complete] in our weakness”… praying that when you feel pain, weariness…that at that time you will feel God’s supernatural STRENGTH!

Steve Biondo – can you the ‘italian stallion’ keep up with this guy?! :)

THANKFUL for you!

Dear Mark and Crew,

You are continually in my prayers! I’m so sorry, Mark, that you are in pain. I pray that God will touch you and heal you. And that you will be able to sleep soundly and have complete rest tonight. I ask God to give you strength for your journey ahead. You are such an inspiration! What an awesome opportunity to witness to the world through CNN and for them to see such hope and dedication to others! They may even want to find out “from where does this man’s strength come”? God bless you guys!

Terry

We too are going to miss your blogs when this is over.
Sorry if I ruined the CNN surprise by commenting about it before you let us see it:-0 Let us know if you know how we can actually see the whole interview. I’m sure all of us would love to see it.
Sorry about your back too, We will certainly pray for you to be healed. Dave (my husband) pulled his back out Sunday as well.
* Please know that we are praying for you all everyday, the kids are very good about remembering*
Here are some verses that I asked the Lord to give to me to give to you!!

-And behold, a voice from heaven said, this my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. ( Matt 3:17)
-Behold, I send an angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place I have prepared. ( Exodus 23:20)
-Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed ( Jeremiah 17:14)
- Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. ( Isaiah 41:10)
-There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven ( Ecc 3:1)

Praying you all have a great week.

Great work to you all!! God bless you for all you have done!
I would like to address this to one of the people that had said they would adopt if they had the “funds”. We adopted three of the most beautiful little ones throught he state of Missouri 6 1/2 yrs ago. I had to quit my job and stay at home with them as I had a three in diapers, one with “special needs”. Most states will subsidize an adoption with insurance and or maintenance because of the reason that person stated. Depending on the income the state will even pay for the adoption…I urge people to please look into more NEVER SAY NEVER!!!

Just incase Mark reads this… At the Joplin show that adorable little guy standing “dripping wet” (thunderstorm),holding the sign that said. ” 170 mi. in one day you are awesome- I am adopted too”, was my guy!! Nickey loves your music and you are an inspiration to him!

Hey guys! I was waving from KC as you passed through and sending many prayers up for each one of you. I wasn’t sure if you were going to drive through my birth town of Hannibal, Missouri (home of Mark Twain) but from the looks of the roads you took, I was made to think that you would probably be heading further north, out in the rolling hills of the boonies. That video isn’t working yet so we are patiently waiting. :) Eric, we thank God for you and your awesome talent of putting these videos together. They really are a wonderful blessing! Thanks to all of you for being there to hold Mark’s arms for him as he gets tired. You all play a special part in this journey! Praying for your back, Mark! That’s just another attempt from the evil one to put a thorn in your side. I’m praying for God’s continued victory!

Maybe you need to stop by see someone for a good massage, or a chiropractor to adjust that back. A good adjustment feels great. I am happy to see that you are on the road again, facing your mission. I know deep down, nothing is going to stop you at this point in your trip. You have so many people on your side, and of course, the one up above, God, is guiding you. Maybe the crew could install some baby proofing items on the doors and drawers around the bus. The calendar reading for the day, “I do what I always do when I have a problem and no answers. I go into my room, turn off the lights and ask Almighty God for guidance.” Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Keep up the great pace.

Mark,
Sorry I am so late here. I fell a bit behind this week. I want to tell you how much you bless and inspire me. You are doing great, my friend! I am sorry to hear about your back though. I hope and pray it heals fast and well. Remember…”for every mile of road there’s 2 miles of ditch”…you are an overcommer and I know you have strong faith and strength in the Lord. We are continuing to pray for you, my friend! See you in August!
(((hugs)))
Helen
