Hi Mark,
I’m glad you will have company tomorrow. If I didn’t have to work, I’d be in a chair with my daughter waiting for you go to by like the couple today. If you are taking Route 40 you will have some nice sights around where I live….two dams, an airport, and my church! Just look for the blue roof. Ha!
I’ll see you Sunday evening in Mansfield. I’m bringing my son and husband this time.
Praying for you - Stay strong!

Hi Mark & Rob,
It looks like yesterday’s ride was great. Thanks, Rob, for blocking the wind for Mark! God’s work of creation was evident in the beautiful scenery again. (It looked fairly flat, too!)
It sounds like you will have lots of company today on your ride. The fellowship is awesome!
Keep on pedaling!
God bless you, Kate, the crew and everyone close to you!
I liked the synchronization of the upside down church sign with the song lyrics. LOL. Too funny! So great to see you in good spirits with Rob at your side. Praise God for the beautiful weather and scenery along the way! I hope to hear that song on the radio very soon! Blessings!

Hey Mark,
I’m glad to see that you are doing so well. I’m training hard for when you are in Erie. And this will be my second time meeting you. I can’t wait. I don’t know if you remember last summer at your concert in Bemus Point, NY. My family and I were there and we made a sign for you and then gave it to you before we left.
I am so happy for you that you have some company on your ride and you have so much support from others. Well good luck on the days of riding until I see you. Only 7 days left!!!
God Bless all of you,
Dayna

Mark-
Good thing you didn’t stop at the Hoosiers arena, your probably would have just mowed Lowe over again. (”get up, get up”) Good job cruising through 9 states only 41 more to go. Although you were barely in Kansas we will count it. Went through Blythe two days ago, 110 degrees and up hill….all I could think was “no way”.

Mark, Rob, Eric, Christian and Clay(green shirt)-
What a priviledge it was to spend the day with all of you and watch God working through each one of you. I am still stunned to see God’s humble servants in action. Chris and I enjoyed the fellowship. Hope you enjoy the warm showers And Mark you look so cool with yor skull cap!!
We went on a back rode driving back to Michigan and where so thankful you weren’t mapped that way- reminded us of your roller coaster ride with Steve Biondo!!
Rob- you are so wonderful to be blocking the wind for Mark- allowing him to save a bit of strength for when he is riding alone. What a blessing you are.
I read a great devotional from Greg Laurie today I wanted to share:
For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
— Psalm 91:11
The angels of God are nearer than you may think. They are all around us all the time, taking care of us and ministering to us, even when we are not aware of their presence. That is fine with them, because essentially they are God’s secret agents, doing His bidding and the work He has called them to do. Many times, they have intervened in our lives and we didn’t even know they were doing so.
It is by no coincidence that God allowed me to see angels in ACTION!!
Thanks for being God’s secret agents for orphans and widows.
Love and Hugs to all!!!

Whoever takes the video for your blog really does a good job! (Did I say it like you wanted me to Eric?) Love your work, friend!
What a joy it is watch your progress and I too am thankful to Rob for taking the lead to block the wind. Good job faithful servant!
Blessings to the team. We were delighted to have our fellow Family Christian Stores employees, Marilyn & Chris, join you for a brief time. Keep safe!

Heya guys,
Loved the little towns you went through, the camera work is wonderful. I will be keeping you all in mind and wait for the postings, but because I will be have my brother 5 children here for the next 5 days (2 yr old, 4 yr old, 8 yr old, 11 yr old, and 12 yr old), please send some prayers this way. I will continue to pray for your safe journey and will be checking in. Quote for today “God’s not a stranger. He’s the best friend you’ve got.”
Quote for the next day, in case I cant write, just store it, “Some people think that the word “news” comes from N-E-W-S, Nother, East, West, and South. It’s not true, but it made me think. That’s where the news comes from- all the four corners of the world. But where does the truth come from? Some place else entirely.” That should make you think a bit more. Keep up the great pace, and remember you were the choosen ones.

Eric, Christian, Clay, Rob and a…..that other guy,
What a model of Christian brotherhood! Sacrificing & supporting each other, understanding your roles and carrying them out, all in humility and with a good dose of humor! What a God given adventure…. Finish Strong Dudes!
Thanks for letting me serve in a little way on the “Americana Tour.”
I’m in awe today - just appreciating again that you ALL are taking such committed/sacrificial ACTION to ride 3,500 miles for orphans & widows. Could’ve been a whole lot easier to get a few people to write a few checks and be done with it. But no…you’re raising incredible awareness, and laying all your energy out for 9 weeks. Not too many high profile guys as yourself have done something like this.
