Mark, Clay, Christian and Eric-
Congrats on a successful show! More funds, more lives impacted! To God be the Glory!! Can’t wait to hear what you recorded!
I just read emails from a family who are adopting two daughters, 14 year old twins girls, from Taraz Kazakhstan. They received an adoption assistant grant from the James Fund through Life International. It is such a joy to hear stories of kids being adopted into loving families. Mark and team- I don’t think you fully realize the impact that you are having all over the world. It is through your generosity of teaming up with the James Fund and the sponsors that little girls like Annie and Ellie will get to experience the love of our Heavenly Father!
Thank you to all who are involved in the James Fund be it financially, event participation, mission trips, and most importantly prayers. Let the love of Christ be known!
May the Lord continue to put his protective arms around you. May you continue to be the voice of hope for the orphan and widow. May you keep your eyes fixed on the Lord in all you do.
Love to all- your sister in Christ,
Marilyn

Great Job Mark and crew!!!
My 3 sons (who were once orphans themselves) and I are planning to ride with you on July 6th, we were one of the deleted ……..we absolutely forgive Eric ………….his videos/songs are incredible. We are coming back strong, we have raised over $1100 so far and are so excited to join your team and help raise money for orphans. This will be an amazing experience for us and I hope it will plant a seed in the boys’ heart to reach for the sky, live out their dreams and dare to do great things for others.
It looks like you are speeding up the schedule so I am not sure where you will be on July 6th???? Any way someone can update your bike schedule on line please. Also is there 1 or 2 concerts in Maine?
Keep up the great work and hope to see you soon!

Hi Mark, Eric, Clay & Christian,
Congrats on another successful concert!! Another night of praise and love for our Lord and raising money for the orphans and widows.
I can’t wait for your revised “Broken and Beautiful” CD with the live songs to become available!! That will be awesome!
Can you believe you are getting so close to finishing this mission? It has been such a blessing to so many people. It doesn’t seem possible that you will be in New York state already!!
Take care and keep on pedaling! Be sure to get rested, Mark. You can’t function very well on 2 hours of sleep!!! You need to take care of your body and mind!
God bless you, Kate, Eric, Clay, Christian and everyone close to you!!
I cannot believe you are almost finished already. Seems like you just started yesterday. I hope you all do some recording of the celebration once you get to NH, that would be so awesome too see you reach that finish line and see all that goes on. You have done such an awesome job and just such an inspiration. There honestly are no words to describe everything you have done the past 2 months for these kids. What a blessing!! I do pray that you are able to take a few days…like a good 5 days, off and catch up on some sleep and time with Kate.
Praying for you all!

Wow, another CD coming out soon. I’ll be sure to pick one up!
Mark, my brother, please get more rest. You already seemed a bit tired in this blog. I pray the two or so hours you get be good sleep, your knee stops hurting, and you all continue to be safe. It will be some celebration when this is all over!!!

Met a fifteen year old girl, orphaned, pregnant with twins. We pray for her every time we see her and she is beginning to come to life. I believe only Christ can bring life back to this broken girl. Thank you for all you do to support the James Fund and how they chose to work in the lives of orphans. Praise God and keep up the good work.

Mark & Crew -
Your progress has been awesome. I know you’re off schedule a bit but your almost to the end!!! C’mon, yeah, across New York but then what, New Hampshire, Vermont? That’s like zipping across the Oklahoma panhandle. Perhaps a few more hills, and will have to swap the sage brush for maple trees, coyote for deer, etc…….
It has been refreshing to see someone plugging away so hard at reaching their goal, not only in His service, but in service to such a great cause. You are setting a great example for those of us needing to be using our talents to serve as well! It has also been fun watching the crew and your wild driver, Bruce. The ice cream cone hand off on I think on the 163 mile day, and then popping out of the corn fied in Missouri or Indiana were pretty funny. Getting you lost on a bicycle,….well…
How are you on the fund raising goal? As you get into the home stretch I know your excited about finishing! Have you reflected at all on the journey that has been yet, and what lies ahead for your work with the James Fund after the ride?
As always, Many Blessings upon you and your cause!

Dear Mark,
I just want to thank you for the wonderful concert in Hudson! It was a great night. You have been blessed with such talent, and you are so funny. The concert felt very intimate and it was exciting that you recorded some songs for your CD. Your songs tell such beautiful stories!
I have been struggling with discouragement lately, and your music really got me thinking and wanting to accept God’s plan for me.
Also, this tour you are doing for orphans and widows is just beautiful! I pray you raise a lot of money to help them. It is just heart wrenching that so many children do not have families! Praise God that you are helping them and that we can also help by supporting you!
May God Bless you and the work you do!
Sincerely,

Mark,
I can hardly believe you. Just when I thought you were nuts, you decide to bike across America. As I have watched the videos of your trip, I realize your determination and dedication to your cause. I think it is wonderful! However, I just lost it when I told my mom and she said that it sounded like you were a bit like Gump, ya know Forrest Gump “I was runnin’!” Anyway, when I saw your mechanic for the bus, I realized that he had the look of Gump through all this with the beard and all! We Kansans are so proud your accomplishments and wish you the best in this endeavor.
Sincerely,
