Just when I thought you were nuts, you decide to bike across America. As I have watched the videos of your trip, I realize your determination and dedication to your cause. I think it is wonderful! However, I just lost it when I told my mom and she said that it sounded like you were a bit like Gump, ya know Forrest Gump "I was runnin'!" Anyway, when I saw your mechanic for the bus, I realized that he had the look of Gump through all this with the beard and all! I know you're off schedule a bit but your almost to the end!!! C'mon, yeah, across New York but then what, New Hampshire, Vermont? That's like zipping across the Oklahoma panhandle. Perhaps a few more hills, and will have to swap the sage brush for maple trees, coyote for deer, etc....... It has been refreshing to see someone plugging away so hard at reaching their goal, not only in His service, but in service to such a great cause. You are setting a great example for those of us needing to be using our talents to serve as well! It has also been fun watching the crew and your wild driver, Bruce. The ice cream cone hand off on I think on the 163 mile day, and then popping out of the corn fied in Missouri or Indiana were pretty funny. Getting you lost on a bicycle,....well... How are you on the fund raising goal? As you get into the home stretch I know your excited about finishing! We pray for her every time we see her and she is beginning to come to life. I believe only Christ can bring life back to this broken girl.
