Hi Mark and team and Wes-
Thanks for another great day of riding in the name of Orphans and Widows. Glad to hear the conditions were Favorable today and you had fun riding with the “King”.
A special thanks to the 3rd grade class at Fort Worth Christian School for having a bake sale and raising money to help orphans and widows. It is so cool that you are learning at such a young age that you can change the world. You can make a difference That money that you raised may have saved a child’s life. Praise the Lord – children helping children. What a BEAUTIFUL sight!!!! May the Lord continue to work in your lives for the good of His kingdom.
Mark- keep pressing on for the Lord’s beloved orphans and widows. Together we can make a change and bring hope. May God bless your trip and continue to stir in the hearts of others to look after orphans and widows in their distress.
YAY Mark, YAY Wes! Thats awesome what these kids have done. Praise God!!
Im kind of lacking in words this morning, so Ill end with that, and to let you all know Im out here praying for you!

How awesome it must be for you Mark to have Wes, one of your own “kids”, that you no doubt cheered on & encouraged for years now riding with you and cheering you on!
Praise God for a good tailwind……40MPH on a bike scares me though. You are brave! Bekah continues to pray for you every night. Know that the offer stands for a home cooked meal in Indiana if it works out for ya’ (snetherton@yahoo.com)
Blessings,
Sarah
PS: Cool music by the way!

Hi Mark, et al!
I’m finally posting a comment. I am a DJ & program the music on a fairly new Christian FM radio station here in Southeastern Connecticut (which also broadcasts to South Hampton, Long Island, and has a web cast). My husband, Don, and I were at GMA and were tremendously blessed by your co-hosting & performances! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to personally meet you.
I have a link on our web site to your daily videos and am so thankful for them and the technology we have (& the great help & talent of your crew). I talk about your mission often every day, play the radio spots and pray for you!
I was wondering the same thing about the song today (as Bill in Kansas above) and searched “Riding With the King” on itunes. Looks like it’s BB King & Eric Clapton?
And your friend, Wes King, who rode with you… is he the musician who had cancer?
We’re talking about a lot of kings here, but when I first heard the song, I thought of our awesome King, Jesus, and know He is riding every second along with you!!!
Blessings & perseverance to you and your team,
In Christ’s great love,
Linda Dinerstein (wcse.org)

We are being blessed by your works…thanks for these daily updates…they are a great way to begin my day and know what to pray for, for you and the team. Keep up the great work!
Love ya bro!

Hi Mark and Team,
Thanks for the wonderful way you are promoting adoption awareness across our country. May God richly bless you for your efforts! Great riding day!
Mark, thanks for calling out the 3rd grade class at Fort Worth Christian School. I just spoke to the administrator there and the kids will be able to view you video blog tomorrow. It will be a great encouragement to them.
Have a great concert in Las Vegas, NM. Our thoughts and prayers are with often each day.
Hey Mark,
Thats great that you had an easy gliding day. Yeah for easy days!!! It was really great of those kids to raise that money for the James Fund and support your ride. You are truely loved by the children ( mine included). I as mel, don’t have much to say except you’re awesome, we’re praying and go get some mc donalds!!!

Hey Mark,
40 mph without pedaling?!!!! That sounds a little scary to me! Thank God for tailwinds and for Wes being able to accompany you. I’m sure you two had a very good time. Be glad you did not have to bike in a southerly direction in the west central part of Illinois today because we had winds up around 30 mph, sustained! I’ll pray for better weather when you bike through.
That’s all for today. I pray for you and your crew everyday. Take care and be safe!
God Bless you, Kate, your crew and everyone close to you!
I want to let you and the ‘Bus Boyz’ know that your efforts aren’t only impacting widows and orphans via the James Fund.
I’ve mentioned your ride across america to a few of my cycling coworkers and while their initial interest is in the biking, the conversation inevitably leads to questions of ‘how does he stay motivated?’, and THAT inevitably leads to a discussion of the love of Christ for the poor, downtrodden and outcast and His love for us. You may not have anticipated this side-effect, and it may not be your primary focus, but thanks! I’m sure others have seen similar opportunities arise simply by mentioning your efforts ‘around the coffee pot’.
Can you give me some techie dirt on the cycling aspects of the trip? It would help to keep my conversations with them going. One asked what the model of your bike is (beyond just a ‘Trek’). I personally think it would be interesting to have a FLAT TALLY for your trip. We also wondered how the car and truck drivers are treating you and how you find out whether you can or can’t ride your bike on Interstates since some states don’t allow it.
Jeremiah 29:11 reads “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
I’m sure you’ll never know how multi-faceted God’s plan has been for you and this bike tour, but I’m glad to see one little part of it playing out in my own workplace.
God bless you, my brother,
Joe
