Mark,
Thanks for surprising us at the family reunion. It was great to see you. It meant a lot to us that you took the time to stop by. I also enjoyed talking with the guys on your crew. They are very cool.

3,502 miles - WOW! Only about 1,750 to go. We'll be praying for you during the rest of your trip.

Mark,
I am writting this through tears on memorial day watching one of my most favorite artists and current largest inspirations on the ride of his life, riding to a song sung by my old youth pastor and mentor who was my first and biggest inspiration to live my life for God! He was an amazing man and so are you!!!

You along with Gods help are doing amazing! If you guys think it could happen I would certainly buy a dvd with all your video blogs on it!

I can't write more today but my(and my families) love, thoughts and prayers are with you everyday!

Mark,
Greetings from a fellow Jayhawk, now living in Japan! Our family really appreciates your music and your heart to serve the Lord and His people. Your desire to encourage the kids who are orphans and those who work with them is wonderful. May the Lord continue to watch over and protect you and your crew as you cruise through the Sunflower State. What a great way for you to see America and be encouraged by the everyday men and women that make America such a great nation. We will continue to pray for you as you ride on and share your music along the way. I do hope you don't have to cycle all the way to Joplin and then backtrack to Great Bend (my birthplace) on the bike. A looong way! Say it isn't so! Also a big "thanks" to the video, audio and computer crew tagging along and doing a great job! "O genki day!" = Take care!

Way to go crew! Smart idea to give Mark some shade while riding. Was he really going as fast as the bus or did you have to slow down? ;-) Mark you are not riding yourself out of a trip, but you are planning, so you can make it to Joplin, MO early so you can rest up for the show. Way to go. Someone is watching over you. Glad to see you are atleast stopping along the way for a break. Are you ever going to introduce the camera man to us someday? Whoever he is, is doing a great job on editing the tape to be seen.

I do have to do a shout out to your wonderful crew, keeping you hydrated, nourished, entertained, rested, and so on. You are lucky to have a great crew like them to keep you going.

Keep it up! Sweettlc
