Way to go Mark. I am praying for you to make your personal goal. Sorry, right now since I am unemployed you will only get my thoughts and prayers, wish I could do more. Keep up the riding.

Way to go Mark! I am riding along with you in spirit. You have the determination and the Lord above helping you along the way. Keep turning those things that get you down into positives (the wind helping & the wind preparing you for another leg of the trip). With your attitude you can do it!

Mark, as my family watched your travels today, I thought of Psalm 23. I, as I know many of us watching you now, have at times thought ‘LORD why me? I can’t, it’s too hard!’ But God always gives us a way out not only to just make it through each day but to glorify Him; He is and will always be glorified & lifted up no matter how it looks to us! Thanks for getting out their again for God! The Casazza Family of Atlanta, GA

Psalm 23 The Good Shepherd

A Davidic psalm.

The LORD is my shepherd;
there is nothing I lack.

He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.

He renews my life;
He leads me along the right paths
for His name’s sake.

Even when I go through the darkest valley,
I fear [no] danger,
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff —they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
as long as I live.

Hi Mark,
What a great video today. We all go through the WHY ME times in our life but in your case I think the answer is pretty simple. You are without a doubt the best man for the job. God makes sure he puts the right people in the right situation and that my friend is you! I can think of know other person that could or should be doing this ride for the James Fund but Mark Schultz. We all need to remember to always thank him for being worthy enough to have to go through the Why Me times and I know that you will come out even stronger on the other side. I guess thats kinda how it works in this life. Stay faithful and stay positive and you know as well as I do he will see you through. We are all praying for this trip and for you and your crew so we will see you tomorrow and if you get lonely out there, just look over your shoulder because we are rightherewithyou!
Your friend and brother in Christ
Tim

Mark,

May the Lord bless you and keep you safe as you come in AZ. We are watching your videos each day and praying for you through out the day. We will be at your concert in Prescott. I have 5 children that are watching and praying for you. Also I go to a homeschool group on Thursday and I will be praying with all the children for you to be safe. Your friend in Christ!! Keep up the good work and Jesus is on your shoulder keeping you company, and I know the songs in your heart are also there. Think of the good songs you will come up with from this trip, I can’t wait to hear them!!

Mark-
85 miles- you are awesome! You never cease to amaze me that with the trials you face you are always looking for the positive.

Yet another day that God placed someone in your path- the trucker that gave you water. No doubt that He is looking out for His precious child and placing people at the right place at the right time.

I would imagine you have lots of reflection time- ENJOY your time with God :)

The orphans are so grateful for you and so am I!

Thanks buddy- Your Sister in Christ-

Wow Mark you are doing amazing!

All of us at Family Christian Stores and Markshultzmusic.com community are praying for you, all day everyday.

I agree with all who have said you are the perfect person to do this, God certainly had a hand in this! He is in control!

I am praying that God’s wind is at your back twice as strong as the wind you are facing and that God will remind you he is with you when you feel tired, worn and beaten.

Keep pushing we are all her for you and the children!!!

Mark,
Your video blogs are awesome though today when I watched I cried. You looked so lonely out there and I know that you were working so hard! And you looked (and sounded) exhausted at the end of the day. GOD BLESS YOU for what you are doing.

Last night as Bekah, Richard and I prayed for you, Bekah asked again why you were riding and I told her it was for all the little children without a Mommy & Daddy and she said “yeah, like I used to be but God gave me to you and Daddy. I love you and Daddy!” (BIG SMILE and a little tear!) I reminded her again that you know how she feels and that’s why you are doing this!

So, again, thanks Mark from the Netherton’s and all the other families who have been impacted by adoption. YOU, Mark, are a hero in our eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep pushing.

Dear Mark and Team,

I love the picture that Mark described in his video of the team sitting out in lawn chairs on the top of a hill in the desert. It reminds me that the team out there is watching over you and looking out for your best interest. Stay vigilant team. Take good care of Mark.

Mark, stay strong. Your testimony of dealing with the adversity of the ride is inspiring. Whether the wind is at your back or in your face - you praise Him! You are improving the reputation of Jesus as you ride and as people encounter you. You are also changing the lives of orphans. Short story - Sarah, at FCS, posted your video on her My Space page. Within hours 15 folks who had visited her site donated to the James Fund. Your ride is equipping others to do ministry as well. The kingdom is being impacted brother! Stay Strong!

Much love and respect,

Steve Biondo

Mark, we’ve sent four James Fund mission teams to Monterrey to love on the very kids you met when you were down there. One little guy broke my heart when he asked another team member if she wanted a little boy. He is yearning for a forever family. I don’t know this little guy’s name but I know our Father in Heaven sure does. He has promised to not forget the fatherless and to be their Father. Praise God!

Thank you for what you are doing for the orphans. Blessings to you.

“It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.” Ps 18:32

No Surrender, by Peter F Serra, “Christian Visions from a Common Man”

There’s a battle every day
And with confidence to win
I call upon the Lord
Who strengthens and defends.
I can feel the struggle
Can taste it in my teeth
The pulsing of desires
Raging at their peak.
They promise respite
From the conflict, yes and no.
Lies designed for bondage
To the things that hold and blind
To ball and chain submission
To where we would not go,
No surrender!
Is the message, says body, mind, and soul.

Phillippians 4:13
I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.

Thank you for your vision and your sacrifices. Keep tough!

Dear Mark,
Thanks so much for the videos! You are definitely in my prayers. I live in Phoenix and know how hot it is in Arizona, but I pray that the heat would not effect you in any way and that God would give you continued strength to endure.

“He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:29-31

Have a great ride through Arizona. May the Lord bless you in a special way! In His Arms, Leanne
